Ferry of CT/4 Airtrainer from NSW to WA

Written on May 28, 2020

After the Covid19, State to States restrictions have been lifted in Australia in Mid May 2020. A group of Pilots from Pacific Flight Services Pty Ltd ferried 10 aircraft from Bankstown, NSW to Jandakot, WA. Not an easy feat to handle an aircraft with no Autopilot but the pilots took up the challenges to make the long journey. The mission spreads over 3 days with 2 night rests, starting from Bankstown, Cobar, Broken Hill, Pork Augusta, Ceduna, Forrest, Kalgoorlie Boulder and Jandakot. A big thank you to the team of Captains Terry Abbott, Rocky Cheung, George Frieschimdt, Trevor Jones, Mike Parry (1st trip) and John Saad(2nd trip) for making the ferry happen so that our training course can start soon in Jandakot. And not forgetting also in setting a record number of CT/4 that were ferried across three states in Australia.
